Polypropylene Multifilament Rope

The use of ropes to aid human beings for hunting, carrying, lifting, attaching and climbing dates way back to prehistoric times. A rope itself is defined as a bundle of flexible fibers twisted or braided together in order to increase its overall length and tensile strength. Originally, ropes arehand-made by using natural fibers as the main material. With the rapid revolution in industrial aspect, modern ropes are easily manufactured by machines. Factories have been utilizing many newer synthetic materials to create products with improved strength while focusing on lighter weight for convenience as well as increasing its durability and better resistance to rotting. Today, more than half of the ropes manufactured in the worldare mainly used in the marine and fishing industry.

Our company has been concentrating in supplying various kind of ropes and two of the strongest ropes that are available would be the Nylon Rope and Polypropylene Multifilament Rope.

The definition of Nylon Rope taken from official English dictionary is explained asnumerous strong, elastic, and tough synthetic polyamide materials that are made into filaments, bristles, fibers, or sheets and used mostly in textile and plastic industry.Fibers and filaments are first formed into yarn. The yarn is then twisted, braided, or plaited according to the type of ropes being made. The diameter of the rope is determined by the diameter of the yarn, the number of yarns per strand, and lastly, the number of strands or braids in the finished rope.

On the other hand, Polypropylene Multifilament Rope is composed of several filaments twisted or braided together. It generally has greater tensile strength, better pliability and flexibility compared toPolypropylene Monofilament suture material. It is definitely easier to handle and better for tying.
